Hi, my name is Veronica. I've always been fascinated by science. I grew up in the war torn El Salvador in the eighties when once it became so violent, a priest was murdered in broad daylight. That was the beginning of the revolution and the people of El Salvador rising for human rights and activism, both of which I cherish dearly. In addition to my strong conviction for animal and human rights. I also love space! As an undergraduate I worked on stellar evolution and received my BSc. in Physics. In graduate school I modeled the accretion disc of black holes with a team of astrophysicists in Washington. Some of this work, with many researchers and multiple universities, not to mention the famous Hanford Detector over at LIGO, led to a brilliant discovery regarding our contemporary theories on relativity confirming our hypothesis of the existence of gravitational waves.

Now I teach Math and Physics to some of the superstars at Marin Academy. I love the students and seeing their enthusiasm for learning about Science and Math. Each week, we perform lessons based upon the preparatory advanced college topics including Mechanics and Optics. Our courses are designed for the understanding of physical systems through the use of Calculus. In other words, THE SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE. |
